How is reaction time measured?
We timestamp the first input event after the stimulus fires, then subtract the calibrated device input latency profile for your hardware.
Why no countdown?
Countdowns turn reflex into anticipation. REACNAR exists specifically to remove that bias.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All training modes work offline. Leaderboard sync resumes once you reconnect.
My result was rejected by anti-cheat.
Email support@reacnar.app with your session ID. We review every anti-cheat dispute within 48 hours and reinstate any result cleared on review.
My reaction times feel slower than expected.
Bluetooth audio adds 80–200 ms of latency. Use a wired output or visual cue mode for accurate timing, and run the latency calibration in Settings.
The leaderboard isn't syncing.
Sessions sync on reconnect. If a session is older than 7 days and still queued, force-quit the app and reopen — the queue is reprocessed on launch.
Which devices are supported?
iOS 16 and newer, Android 12 and newer. Tablets work but rankings are pooled with phones.
